Selling or buying a home with land can feel a little overwhelming. Wells, septic systems, zoning, and even just figuring out how to market (or find) the right property isn’t always straightforward. When my husband and I bought our own place in northern Lake County, Illinois, I learned quickly that living with more space, more privacy, and room for a few animals is a different kind of lifestyle.

That’s why I love helping people who are ready to make a similar move. As a fourth-generation Realtor®, I bring both experience and empathy to the process. My background as a certified sign language interpreter taught me to listen closely, stay calm when things get complicated, and make sure every detail is understood. I’m detail-oriented by nature and stay on top of the fine points so your transaction feels as smooth as possible. For me, the real measure of success is helping you succeed in reaching your goals.

With advanced training in seller representation (SRS), Seniors (SRES), and buyer representation (ABR), I combine proven marketing strategies with deep knowledge of Lake County and northern Illinois. I specialize in helping homeowners sell properties with land or acreage, asking the right questions and highlighting the features that matter most. I also work with buyers who want the same lifestyle, whether that means extra elbow room, a quiet setting, or space for cars, toys, gardens, pets, or hobbies. Being licensed in both Illinois and Wisconsin gives my clients the flexibility to explore opportunities on either side of the state line.

At the end of the day, I don’t just sell homes with land. I live this lifestyle too. At home in Wadsworth with my husband, kids, dog, cats, chickens, ducks, and foster kittens, I know firsthand the joy that comes with a little extra room to breathe. That love for animals also inspired me to co-found Two Furs Rescue, a nonprofit that cares for kittens under 8 weeks old. My own “Green Acres” lifestyle keeps me connected to the same kind of properties I help my clients buy and sell.
